Zoo management tips for Planet Zoo.
- Security & Caretakers: To boost profit, set both to patrol heavy-traffic areas. Vandalism and litter make guests very unhappy.
- Educational Speakers: When placed, you'll see a heatmap; put speakers in blue areas, not red. Overlapping speakers drop happiness fast.
- Solar Panels: Place them anywhere; guests don't mind them like staff buildings, and they have no maintenance cost.
- Water Purifiers: Keep lakes and water areas clean; they remove the 'cleanliness from last water source' debuff.
- Guest Facilities: Don't build drink shops until at least 300+ guests; food shops ~500+, balloon stores ~800+, info stands ~1000+.
- Water Requirements: Some animals (e.g. Nile Monitor) need a water source; the requirement is by square metre (quantity, not surface area). Build downward to save money and space — as long as there's a slope to get out, depth doesn't matter.
- Enrichment Toys: For both animals and guests. Place toys and feeders near the glass and animals move closer to guests, making them happier and increasing donations.
