At Zibidi Games we care about your privacy. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site and how cookies and third-party ads work.
Data we collect
When you sign up, your username and email address; the content you publish (topic, guides, mods, trainers, comments); and technical logs (IP address, browser type) kept briefly for security, troubleshooting, and abuse/spam prevention (rate limiting).
Signing in with Steam
If you sign in with Steam or link Steam to your account, we receive only public information from Steam: your Steam ID, profile name, and profile picture. An account created with Steam gets a username derived from your Steam name, your profile picture is copied to our server, and your Steam profile link is added to your profile; you can change the picture and the link in Settings. No email address is stored for accounts created with Steam. If you later link an account created with Steam to your zibidigames account (with its username and password), the two are merged: your zibidigames account becomes the main one and everything from the Steam account moves to it.
Streaming from Zpod to YouTube
If you choose to also send your Zpod stream to your own YouTube channel, your YouTube stream key is stored encrypted only on your own computer. When you go live, the key is sent to our server and kept in memory only for that stream; it isn't written to disk or logged. Your stream's video and audio are relayed through our server to YouTube (Google); your stream on YouTube is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove the key at any time in Zpod under Settings > Streaming, or reset it in YouTube Studio.
Cookies
We use cookies needed to keep you signed in and remember your language preference; sign-in and preferences do not work without them. You can delete or block cookies in your browser, though some features may then stop working.
Ads and third parties
The site may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads relevant to your interests. You can turn off personalized ads in Google Ad Settings (adsettings.google.com) and manage third-party ad cookies at www.aboutads.info.
How we use data
We use your data only to manage your account, publish your content, send notifications, and keep the site secure. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Retention and deletion
If you want your account and content deleted, you can request it from the contact page. Email-verification, password-reset and notification emails are sent from our own server (noreply@zibidigames.com).
Security
Passwords are never stored in plain text — only irreversible hashes are kept. The connection is encrypted with HTTPS. Sign-up requires email verification, and rate limiting is applied to prevent automated abuse.
