Trophy Tips & Solutions

Making tough trophies easier (PS).

Trophy tips and solutions for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard (PlayStation).

1.Easy 'That's a Spicy Meat-a-ball' Trophy

Kill an enemy by attaching a Remote Bomb and detonating it. This can be done in the 'Pursue Eveline' mission on the Old Ship, when Eveline wants to watch a videotape — you first find Remote Bombs there. Note: press R2 to stick an equipped bomb in the enemy's mouth.

2.Easy 'Can't Catch Me' Trophy

Complete the 'Mia' videotape without being spotted by Marguerite in the 'Get out of the house' mission. Note: if seen, wait for Marguerite to grab you — this causes a checkpoint restart and doesn't count as being seen.

3.Unlocking the Alternate Endings

There are two endings; both are needed for the 'End of Night' and 'Just A Memory Now' trophies. After defeating the huge mutant boss you choose to cure Mia or Zoe (there's only enough serum for one). Mia = Ending #1 (Good), Zoe = Ending #2 (Bad).

4.All Collectible Locations

On Easy/Normal there are 74 collectibles: 32 Files, 18 Antique Coins, 20 Mr. Everywheres, 4 Videotapes. Finding them all unlocks: 'Be Kind, Please Rewind', 'Pelicans in Your Pocket', 'The Devil Is in the Details', 'He's Here, There, Everywhere!', 'Mr. Nowhere'. Note: on Madhouse the 33 Antique Coins are in different spots, with a separate 'Mad Pelicans' trophy.

5.Checkpoint Save

Pressing 'Retry' after death doesn't reset the checkpoint time. To get around this, make manual saves at cassette recorders; if things go wrong, pause and press 'End' to quit to the main menu, then 'Load Game' and pick your manual save.
