Unlockable Suits and Cheats
Special suits, the hand cannon, Hardcore/New Game+ and prequel bonuses.
1.Special Suits
| Suit | Requirement |

| Arctic Security Suit | Complete the game on Zealot (unlocks at the store) |
| Soldier Suit | Complete the game on Hardcore (unlocks at the store) |
| Hacker Suit | Have a Dead Space: Ignition save (unlocks at the store) |
| Elite Advanced Suit | Find the schematic in NG+ during Chapter 11 (turn around when the yellow lift tops out) |
| Elite Engineer Suit | In NG+ during Chapter 2, just before the first short space section |
| Elite Riot Suit | Purchase at the store in NG+ |
| Elite Security Suit | In NG+ during Chapter 9, over the railing after exiting the tram |
| Elite Vintage Suit | In NG+ during Chapter 6, where you fight the tank before the chapter ends |
2.Cheats and Modes
- Hand Cannon: Complete the game on Hardcore and upgrade the plasma pistol. The infinite-ammo, one-hit-kill hand cannon is at the first shop. It resembles a foam finger, and Isaac makes "Bang Bang" and "Pew Pew Pew" sounds when firing.
- Hardcore difficulty: Complete Campaign mode once. You can only restart from the last save, with only three save slots for the whole campaign. Cannot be started from "New Game +".
- New Game + mode: Complete Campaign and save. Grants access to all store and inventory weapons and items.
- Extraction: Expert and Impossible difficulty: Complete Chapter 10.
- Prequel bonus: Complete Dead Space: Ignition in Ignition mode to unlock the Hacker suit (bonus perks and hacking), a Hacker-themed Contact Beam skin, exclusive audio logs, and extra power nodes/health packs/credits.
- Refurbished Plasma Cutter: Have a save from the original Dead Space; found at the first store.
