Character Unlocks, Farming and Tips
Hero unlocks, guaranteed vault locations, legendary gear farming and status effects.
1.Character Unlocks

| Captain America / Thor | Complete "Testing…1…2…3" (unlocks near the end of the campaign) |
2.Guaranteed Vault Coordinates
A radar ping appears near a hidden SHIELD base; go to the hidden switch, grab the chests and the Vault Coordinates item (unlocks a vault side-mission on the War Table).

3.Easy Legendary Gear / XP Farming
Post-campaign, "Day Of The Remains" (unlocked in the Reigning Supreme chain) is infinitely repeatable and scales to your level +5. Challenge IV gives the best drops. It has lots of resources, caches, Elite enemies and side quests. Go left for a hidden SHIELD Cache (two Vault Coordinates Keys). Completing side quests grants Upgrade Modules, Legendary/Epic gear and Units. Takes ~10 minutes.
4.Status Effects
| Effect | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cryo Freeze | Enough Cryo damage freezes an enemy, slowing movement |
| Cosmic Ionization | Ionizes; increases incoming damage, boosts Hero willpower |
| Electro Shock | Shocks; increases incoming damage and critical chance |
| Gamma Poisoning | Poisons; intermittent damage that spreads; defeat while poisoned causes a large Gamma explosion |
| Pym Shrink | Shrinks; deals less damage, takes more |
| Plasma Burn | Burns; intermittently interrupts attacks, staggers some enemies |
