Tips and Easy Achievements

1.Secret Cat Companion ("Freyja's Friend")

Reach England, go to Norwich in East Anglia. A hidden side quest not shown on the map: down the steps from the Dane's House, near a red norse gate, talk to the white cat. When it flees, talk to the child and follow him; the cat runs off as the kid nears. Grab it before it escapes — if you fail, follow the child and retry. The cat now appears on your longship.

2.Recommended Skills

• Auto-Loot: Auto-collect loot by walking over bodies.
• Breakfall: Auto-roll when jumping from height, negating fall damage.
• Counter Roll: The only way to counter Rune Attacks; vault over the enemy and strike from behind.
• Dual Heavy Weapons: Wield two heavy weapons; quick heavy attacks, tornado specials.
• Missile Reverse: Catch and throw arrows back.

3.Easy Achievements

• Equine Attack: Assassinate the straw puppets at the Hidden Ones Bureau in your England settlement from horseback (tap [Crouch] to stand on the horse, then the prompt).
• Flying Eivor: In Ledecestrescire – Venonis, let the Goliath atop a pillar throw you with his red rune attack.
• Not the Norse You're Looking For: In Essexe – Colcestre, blend with monks (Triangle) and pass close to guards (a Distrust area).
• Row Rage: In the river south of Botolphston (Lincolnshire), ram 5 small boats with your longship within 2 minutes.
• Silent Viking: In Ledecestre, assassinate 10 enemies in a row unseen (bow doesn't count; the Chain Assassination skill helps).
• Overdesign II: In Hamtunscire – Werham (Level 340), kill red-skull Standard Bearers while you're on fire, with bow/melee (3 of them).
