Tips
Easy money, bonding, horse and item tips.
Tips for Dynasty Warriors 9.
- Fast Travel: Use fast travel whenever you can to save time. Any map area you've revealed is visible to every character you play; the only restriction is whether your destination is under enemy control.
- Easy Money: Hunt bandits, especially bandit chiefs/leaders (worth more). Kill them, gather their items and sell to vendors for about 6,000 gold per defeated group.
- Easy Bonding: Get two hideaways. Send a letter to an officer from one and travel to the second; when you open the door the officer spawns outside — talk to raise their bond. Then send a letter from the second and return to the first. Repeat as much as you like.
- Headshots: You can headshot most human enemies with a bow for a one-hit kill (even on Chaos). Head to the Great Wall (far north-west) and headshot bandits — a great source of gold, coins and XP.
- Gold Crown: Get one ASAP; it pulls nearby items toward you with a huge range.
- Beast Mirror: Increases the map area you reveal as you travel, and it stacks — equip 4 when exploring.
- Fire Gems: The best for your weapons (IMO); they add huge damage to your attacks.
- Traders: Check traders in every town; each has a daily-rotating inventory and sometimes sells rare materials. Getting yellow-grade materials saves time toward crafting top-tier weapons.
