WillowGame.ini cheats, infinite money/weapons, item duplication, Claptrap locations and Destroyer tactic.
1.WillowGame.ini Cheats
Change the values of these lines in ...\Borderlands\WillowGame\Config\WillowGame.ini:
| Code | Effect |
|---|---|
| bDemiGodMode=true | Cannot drop below 1 health (demigod) |
| WeaponReadyMax=2..4 | Weapon slot capacity |
| InventorySlotMax_Misc=[number] | Increase max inventory |
| bIgnoreFriendlyFire=false (both entries) | Shoot teammates |
| bIgnoreNPCFriendlyFire=false | NPCs can damage each other |
| bBossesRegenHealthOnReset=true | Bosses don't regain health after dying |
| bResurrectAllPlayersWhenOneDies=true | Resurrect all players when one dies |
2.Infinite Money/Weapons and Duplication
- Infinite weapons/money: In New Haven, respawning weapon crates (5 of them; on roofs, one the claptrap opens, one under a canvas). Loot them, quit the game, resume and loot again; sell the excess.
- Item duplication: With a co-op partner, drop the item to copy on the ground and exit without saving; your partner grabs it while your copy remains. Works on guns, shields and class mods.
- Level/loot farm (first scene): Collect all loot and kill enemies up to the campsite with the tour robot, then pause > Exit. Your character (level+loot) is saved and the game restarts. Repeat.
3.Claptrap Locations (for 42 inventory slots)
Sledge's Safehouse, The Lost Cave, New Haven, Tetanus Warren, Earl's Scrapyard, Krom's Canyon, Old Haven, Trash Coast, The Salt Flats, Crimson Fastness.
4.Elemental Effects
| Element | Effect |
|---|---|
| Fire | Gradual burn damage; more effective once shields are down |
| Shock | Big damage to shields; weaker once on the health bar |
| Corrosive (Acid) | Great vs armored enemies; can spread when they panic |
| Explosive | Random extra explosion damage; aim at groups |
| Eridian | Sometimes extra effects not described |
5.Destroyer Boss Tactic
Hide behind the pillar to the right/left (out of range). Destroy the tentacles by shooting the glowing orbs, but keep one (use it for a Second Wind if downed). The orbs are the source of the missiles, so fewer tentacles means fewer missiles. Once the tentacles are gone, aim critical shots at the mouth/tongue and the eye. Weapons with unlimited ammo are very useful.
6.Tips
- Quick reload: Melee the moment the magazine is removed — the reload finishes.
- Critical hits: Head for humans; face for a Skag when its mouth is open; a shotgun at close range is easiest.
