Secret Boss (Black Rabite)
Reaching the game's toughest secret boss.
Secret boss fight in Trials of Mana.
To fight the secret boss, first complete the Dark Stone Benevodon dungeon and the sub-boss mission of your first main party member (e.g. if your main is Duran, complete both Crystal Desert and Dragon's Maw). Then, instead of going to the Sanctuary of Mana, return to the entrance of the Dark Stone Benevodon dungeon. There you'll see a Black Rabite statue; examine it to teleport back to the sub-boss area. A warning about a powerful enemy appears — proceed and fight the game's toughest boss, the Black Rabite.
