Third Semester & Alternate Endings

Third Semester and alternate endings in Persona 5: Royal.

1.Unlocking the Third Semester Palace

To unlock the Royal-exclusive third-semester events, reach Rank 9 of the Councilor Arcana (Takuto Maruki) by November 17th. If you're Rank 9 on November 17th, you automatically reach Rank 10 and major endgame events begin, including an optional final boss. If not, you get the standard Persona 5 endgame. Maruki is a new school counselor who appears at Shujin Academy after Kamoshida's Palace; leveling the Councilor Arcana improves your ability to randomly remove status effects or recover SP when low.

2.Alternate Endings

• Bad ending: Don't complete Maruki's Palace in time.
• Good Bad ending: Maruki offers to make the Dream World real; Akechi asks you to confirm. Agree twice for the 'good' bad ending.
• Good ending: Complete Maruki's Palace within the time limit. Have the Justice Confidant at Rank 10 for Akechi to briefly appear.
• Standard ending: Don't level the Councilor Arcana to Rank 9 by November 17th.
• True ending: Unlock the alternate third-semester events and refuse Maruki's deal to replace the world with an ideal dream.
